Paulette Goddard -- a Ziegfeld showgirl, movie star and wife of Charlie Chaplin -- is depicted here in her lead role in the film Anna Lucasta. Kiah and her husband were at this time studying at Teachers College, Columbia University, in New York, where Kiah received an A.B. (1949) and an M.A. (1950).
